Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

"Dont waste this opportunity you will regret it if you do." The silouite body begins to fade it's dark outlines fizzle. The stars from the face and around the to robe begin to fly up leaving nothing behind. The silhouette seems to have disappeared.

The boy and girl have different emotions stirring looking at the disappearance of the silhouette that left such a ominous message.

The boy is feeling tired both physically and mentally. His breathing is still slightly heavy with a rapid heart beat from the walking in knee deep waters, his body sadly isn't helping either. His body former owner was dangerously malnourished being completely skin bone figure. Even though the field spell helped with the healing, stamina wasn't and, neither was his control.

The girl on the other hand is feeling terrified. Her body is trembling making small ripple on the dark waters. Her rapid breathing isn't helping either. When she open her eyes to see the silhouette nothing happened it was only when she felt something inside her. What she feels couldn't be described with the five senses.

Hearing a strange noise the boy turns to look at the girl, seeing her scared expression almost made him jump. She is shaking while also twitching in erratic movements. Her eyes are slightly red wide opened with no light reflecting from them and tears flowing down. Lastly her breathing if you can call it that is disturbing. It sounds like a combination of weeping, giggles, and hyperventilating. Combine all this and you would run as if hell is at your door.

Gulping the saliva that was stuck in his throat he reaches out to the girl with fear, holding out his hand to reach her shoulder. Walking slowly close to her he lets his hand fall on the girls shoulder. Her disturbing demeanor stops instantly making the boy even more scared than before. The girl slowly turns her head at the boy her hair covering her eyes while showing her tear stains. Gulping again the boy attempts to word out something only for no sound to come out and for his mouth to open and close.

The girl stares at the boy for awhile closing her mouth she smiles? The boy feeling the fear inside him grow attempts to retract his hand only for his hand to be quickly grasped by the smiling girl. In a monotonous voice she says. "I...am...fine...". Letting go of his hand the girl turns to face the only patch of dry land in these dark waters. Adjusting her hair she says still in a monotonous tone "Let's...go..."

...

Continuing the walk away from the dark waters the boy and girl try to reach the patch of sand well the boy mostly. The girl who is taking the lead is walking in a matter that is confusing. She is walking as if she is not in any danger as if she is just strolling in a park. The boy on the other hand is zigzagging? Following behind her he is both exhausted and losing the will to continue.

With a tired and huffed voice the boy says "How long, hu, until we, hu, reach the dry land, hu." Looking up at the girl he is looking at her back. "It feels like, hu, we've been walking for, hu, hours, hu."

The girl in front not looking back is continuing on her "Stroll" says still monotonous. "Almost...there...not...far...long." Stopping in place she is looking left to right almost like looking for cars? "Seeing" that there is no cars passing by she continues walking.

The boy not realizing the strange behavior due to being close to passing out. Trys to keep up the pace his blurry vision making it difficult though. Blinking of couple times something clicks almost making him fear that what he's seeing is true. Staring in front of him shocked to the point that what little bit of energy in his body is completely released. That small burst was enough to see a second clear zoomed in sight of the girl on the patch of sand waving at him slowly with a smile. Tilting her head to the side her hair blocking her eyes completely then from his top view sees white "boxes going down like a curtain. Slowly the "boxes" hit the "water" violently splashing him then instantly the feeling of being dragged down like if multiple hands are around him pulling. In one second everything around him goes bitch black as if he lost his eyes. Unable to move, unable to breath, and unable to see only one thought in the back of his head.

'Did? Am I? Drowning?'

Back on the patch of sand one moment the girl sees the boy staring at her with a wide shocked scared look. Then the next Something emerged from the "water" a strange massive black whale like creature with no other features except a row of white teeth outside its mouth. Opens wide showing nothing inside just a scarily empty dark void bites down on the water surface causing a giant splash and some big waves to hit the sand. When the waves from the water stops there is no boy out in the distance and the "whale" is no where to be seen.

Whether it somehow suberged itself in the knee deep water or its in fact the water itself it now has nothing to do with her. Putting her hand down she turns to look at the top of the sand she is on. Turns out that this sand is not a shade of brown but a strange white color that is not pure white but somehow not a shade or tint of any color. Walking to the center of the sand continuing her "stroll" to the park. She leaves behind tracks where each steps she takes her tracks becomes a weird shape.

Her first couple of steps ar like any other prints you would see on a beach when someone walks by on the sand. The next couple of steps is where the tracks become wierd. There are some that shows that she is missing toes and the heel bone on her foot is shrinking with each step and almost disappearing. The steps turn to a wierd blob shape that has more pressure on the top. Continuing more on the steps the letter become pot holes being separated with strange mounds of sand. Then the tracks are no longer prints but wide lines draggin on the sand.

The girl on the sand no longer loks like a human child but somehow looks more like a porsoline doll with no legs having visible cracks on her body spewing out the same white sand from her body. The girl arms and joints are almost stiff and hard like she is experiencing rigor mortis but she is still dragging herself to the center of the sand pile. Once she barley reaches the center the cracks on her body rapidly spreads from the waist to her head.
