When they went home, the sky was getting dark. They all entered the house cheerfully. Butler Lu greeted all of them. "Welcome sirs and madam. Dinner would be ready soon."
Leah had just come from upstairs tidying up Christian and Jeanohntae's room when she saw them. She smiled and ran down the stairs fast. "Ms. Jean, it is so good to see you. Welcome back home." Leah did not stop and ran to hugged Jeanohntae.
Jeanohntae laughed and hugged Leah back. "Leah, I wasn't gone that long. But anyways, I've missed you all." The three man on the side were just staring at the ladies in disbelief. Leah did not bother to greet them and followed Jeanohntae upstairs.
"I guess they became good friends that Leah forgot who she was working for. Jean has that effect on people." Joseph said laughing. As he went to the kitchen, he was chased back out by the cook.
Joseph did not know what was happening. "What is going on!?? Why is everyone acting so strange today!??" Joseph grunted. "What's wrong!??" Rudy asked.
Joseph pointed to the kitchen like a little child. "Devin is the cook. I went to see what he is cooking for dinner, but he started telling me to leave the kitchen. I just wanted to get a peak, but he kept pushing me out the door."
Butler Lu started to laugh. "Excuse me sir, but I do believe that everyone is excited because of Ms. Jean's arrival. Everyone has missed her dearly."
Rudy started to laugh. "You did say Jean can make everyone forget who they are working for. Joe, you can't be upset about that."
Joseph sighed in agreement. He just wanted to see what's for dinner. He was really hungry. "How about we all go shower and come back down for dinner. I'm willing to bet Jeanohntae is already doing just that." Christian said.
He was not wrong. Leah made a bubble bath for Jeanohntae and prepared her clothes. When Jeanohntae finally sat in the tub, her body started to relax. She asked Leah to get a book about Christian's company in the library. Christian had made a book about how the company works and everything they do.
Leah returned with the book and Jeanohntae started reading. Her eyes were too focused on the book, she did not hear the bedroom door open. "Mr. Christian, Ms. Jean is already taking a bath. I placed her clothes on the bed for when she's done." Leah said. Christian nodded and Leah left.
Since Jeanohntae was already submerged in the water, he was able to walk into the bathroom without seeing anything. Christian walked into the bathroom and Jeanohntae looked up. "Christian! Get out! Can't you see I'm in here!??" Jeanohntae started to yell at him.
It was futile, Christian was not leaving. "Jean, you're already in the tub. I can't see anything because of the bubbles. I'll use the shower. It'll be faster if we are both using the bathroom." Christian started to take off his clothes and Jeanohntae hid her face in the book blushing with embarrassment.
Christian saw what she was reading and laughed. 'She just could not wait.' Christian said to himself. Christian got in the shower and turned it on. Jeanohntae was finally able to focus on her book again.
After a little while, Christian finally finished his shower. He wrapped towel around his hips and walked out. Jeanohntae was also finished with her bath and got out of the tub. She decided to wait till she heard the bedroom open and close.
She walked out of the bathroom and into the closet. She got changed and headed down stairs. As she was walking down, she saw all three men sitting on the couch. "Let's go eat. Dinner is ready." Christian said. They all walked into the dining room and sat down.
Devin came out and place two plates in front of Jeanohntae. The other dishes were coming out, but Devin came out personally to give Jeanohntae her food. "Ms. Jean, my name is Devin. I am the cook here. I mad these especially for you. Please enjoy." It was dumplings and fries.
Devin stood by Jeanohntae's side waiting for her to say something. Jeanohntae picked up a dumpling and bit into it. She closed her eyes feeling like she was in heaven. "Devin, this is amazing. These are the best dumplings I've ever eaten. Thank you so much."
Devin smiled big. His eyes was watering up with tears. "Thank you Ms. Jean. Please don't hesitate to let me know what food you would like to eat. I'll be happy to make you food whenever you want."
Devin went back into the kitchen happy. The three men that were sitting down started to sulk. Everyone was ignoring them for Jeanohntae. They were a little sad but happy that Jeanohntae was being doted on.
Jeanohntae started to laugh. "Why are you all sulking. Let's eat." Jeanohntae's said. The three men looked at each other and sighed. Jeanohntae was being treated like a goddess, while the three were being treated like her personal servants. At least, that's what Joseph and Rudy were feeling. Christian was happy about it. He was not the only one that will do anything for Jeanohntae. Even the staffs at home are willing to do the same.
After dinner, everyone went to their rooms. The three men were happy that Nikki and Nellie were not in the house. Which means they are able to relax now that Jeanohntae is now safe.
Everything was going great for them. Their little queen has now been happier than ever before. They all went to bed peacefully as the bodyguards switched shifts again.
Devin however, was thinking of new recipes to cook for Jeanohntae. He was looking for something she would enjoy. He was an excellent cook, but he wanted to expand his knowledge of cooking all for the sake of Jeanohntae.
She was special to everyone. She made everyone feel happy and cared for. No one could ever dare to make her sad. They would never forgive themselves if they tried.
Devin finally found a few more recipes he thought would be perfect for Jeanohntae's caring personality. He was happy with the new recipes and went to his room in the 5th floor.
There was a lot of open rooms for any of the staffs that wants to stay there. They all live on the top floor. Even though the top floor has bigger room, Christian thought the workers should have the top floor instead. He wanted them to feel like they are cared for as well. Even thought he never shows it, Christian really cares for his staffs.
