After several breaths an old man walked out from behind the Empresses throne this man was Oda Nobunaga patriarch of the Nobunaga clan and sworn enemies of the Tatsuya clan. He was also the father of the current Empress and grandfather of the crown prince. The moment Aries Tatsuya realized what was happening it was to late as he was attacked from behind by an assassin hired by the Nobunaga clan. It was then that the crown prince's arrogant voice rang thru out the throne room "Aries Tatsuya your clan has served the imperial family for generations but today with your death we shall mark the rise of my Nobunaga clan and the destruction of the Tatsuya clan. Not only did you make this easier but coming here today you have not only sealed the fate of your clan but, also given me a scapegoat for the death of my father the Emperor. Shock flashed across Ares features before he stilled his resolve and released his full middle stage king cultivation and started to burn his life essence to forcibly raise his combat power. All the elders present understood Ares meaning but with a Nobunaga being on the throne it was already guaranteed that war would break out between the two clans. When Ares and the elders returned to the Tatsuya clan an emergency clan meeting was called with all of the clan being required to come. Once everyone was present in the clan hall patriarch Ares explained the predicament the Tatsuya clan was facing. As soon as Ares finished speaking the fourth forefather of the Tatsuya clan stepped forward " we are Tatsuya's and we will not bow our heads to the crown prince or the Nobunaga clan. What we must do is strike before we are forced on the defensive and we must also inform the first three forefathers who have ascended to the immortal plane of our clans troubles." " I agree with fourth forefather " "I also agree" Tatsuya voices sounded thru out the clan hall. Ares ended the clan meeting with orders to prepare for war while also summoning just the forefathers to a secret chamber at the rear of the hall. Ares knew he would not have every forefathers approval but he did not expect this outcome . The atmosphere tensed as Ares and the seventh forefather glared at each other for several breaths. Finally the fourth forefather stepped forward " stop we are facing a crisis that may decide our clans future and brother seventh is correct we are Tatsuyas and we will not run from our enemies. Although it would be wise to send Ryu to the immortal plane to be nurtured by our clan ancestor with his potential he may surpass even the demigod realm within a few hundred years.
