"Orion," Kora started after several rather long minutes of silence. She was also feeling tired and hoped there was a blanket or something. "Has it always been easy for you? Killing others? I don't mean it rudely, I know what you said before that going after them first was smarter, I just…" She wasn't sure how to fill in the rest of the sentence. She tilted her head to the side to look at him and he was watching her.
"You have a soft heart Kora, something I have never had. The first time I killed someone it wasn't that hard. I was still nothing more than a child then. The world I grew up in, if you couldn't do what was needed you were dead." She had no idea what it would have been like to grow up in a world like that.
"Does it ever bother you?" He shrugged.
"Sometimes, just because I can kill easily doesn't mean I'm soulless." He told her.
"That wasn't what I meant."
