You wake up. It took you quite awhile to regain consciousness. You were laying on the floor of the room where you and the others had stayed for most of the battle against the Seeker forces.
Looking to the left, you see your helmet.
Looking to the right, you see your friends.
There is no sign of Kyros.
You pick up your helmet and put it on. Immediately, your armour begins shining. You stand up and check your status.
Your armour has lost 3% resistance, acceptable losses.
You check your weapon.
Your laser rifle has 30% energy, acceptable.
You take a deep breath, and step outside. You are surrounded by the sand.
You breathe in. Sand.
Theres a spot in the distance getting bigger fast.
You see the shape of an armoured ship on the horizon.
Its engines are roaring loudly, and its exhaust fumes pour out into the wind.
You can't tell whether its hostile or friendly, and you feel slightly uneasy as you stare at it.
A voice sounds in your earpiece.
"Vahlat ive got new informations about their movement, wake up Alyssa", Kyros familiar voice sounds out of your language unit.
You hear Alyssa's voice in your ear. "How bad is it? What's their status?" she asks.
Kyros replies "The enemy force seems to have moved towards the city of Gaius. Our sources claim that there were signs of underground activity"
"Does he need more proof that they are coming?" Alyssa says.
Zee was recently chilled cause the last fight was allready a few days ago.
Kyros says "He would need camera proof but the satellite system has been destroyed in the attack, unfortunately. We will have to rely on our own eyes"
Alyssa asks "Do you have any idea who is heading it? Was there any sign of the leader of the Seeker forces?"
"That's what we are trying to find out.
We spotted two drones from the mysterious ship in the sky that are headed straight towards the city." Kyros answered. "We will have to find out if they are friendly, or are simply flying some other kind of transport"
"yeah but where do we start?" You agree with Alyssas concern.
"For the moment, all we know for sure is they are heading towards the city. We just need to figure out where. The location is very difficult to pinpoint" Kyros responds.
Alyssa tells him, "We will try to track them down. Let us know if anything else changes". She disconnects the communication.
You look around. Kyros seems just a few minutes away.
You decide to go back inside.
You see the doorway glowing ahead of you, the sand dunes continue to appear on the other side. The sun is high in the sky, and its warmth and light are all around you. It comes to your mind how peaceful the world can be while you enter the cool room with its cold lights.
