Christopher's POV
'Good morning son..' my father calls out entering the dining room as he pulls out a chair for himself. I take a sip of my juice as a stair up at him.
' morning.' I answer hiding the shock and confusion in my eyes. just a couple of days ago he was busy displaying how displeased he was with me. how he did not want to talk to me or hear anything I had to say. and there right now it would seem that she was trying to make amends. that she was trying to be on good terms with me. I would be lying if I said that it did not please me. but at the same time there is that feeling that rested inside my heart that he was using me however he pleased. being angry at me one morning and then completely happy the next. it felt to me like I was just disposable to him. in any way possible. was it because of Melanie? was it because she had resurfaced? well if that was the case then I understood the Dire need for the both of us to work together.
