Ruhi felt exasperated at Shyla. "Shyla, are you stupid? He wanted a divorce, yet you're still proactive with this. You haven't even finished the drip. What if something happens to you on your way there?"
Shyla smiled, thinking there was no difference between being stupid again this time."It's alright. Please let me go. I don't want him to think that I couldn't keep a promise."
Shyla's pleading eyes softened Ruhi's anger. Ruhi couldn't interfere with their relationship, so she could only say angrily, "Even if you are so considerate to him, he won't be grateful at all."
Ruhi: shall I come with you?
Shyla immediately declined. "NO".
Ruhi: I am afraid about your health. How could you decline me?
Shyla: don't worry about me Ruhi. I am fine. If you see Nolan, you will scold him there. I know about you very well, my girl. she laughed lightly.
Ruhi: I won't do anything, trust me, please allow me to accompany you. I know how much you loved that bas***d Nolan. I know how you are disheartened and lonely you feel after divorce. I just want to be with you. I just want to make sure you are fine.
Shyla: Ruhi, Thank you, I know you are my well-wisher. I know you just want to stand for me, you just don't want to leave me alone. But, I want a peaceful divorce. Don't worry, you are the only one who is going to accompany me in my latter days.
Ruhi knows she can't win this argument against Shyla, so, she lets her go. Ruhi hugged Shyla tightly with teary eyes. You are not alone without that Bas***d Nolan, you have me. Don't forget that you have a baby in your womb. That child is going to give you the happiness that you lost after marrying that idiot Nolan.
After bidding Bye to Ruhi, Shyla took a cab in front of the hospital gate, to the Civil Affairs Bureau. After hailing the cab, she started remembering the days with Nolan.

Shyla's mind went back to the time when they had met for the first time. That was at school. Nolan was her senior. They met at a community activity, organized by the school. He was always courteous to everyone and always wore a bright and cheerful smile on his face. You rarely see Nolan lose his temper. He eventually took her under his wing and became like a big brother to her. At that time, their days were very cheerful.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the cab driver's voice. Shyla looked out of the window. There she saw a good-looking man in his black three-piece suit. He had a handsome face and an outstanding temperament- he looked even better than the celebrities on TV. While the sun's rays fell on the man, he looked like an angel. After looking at him sometimes, she opens the cab door and gets out of it.
Shyla was still half an hour late when she arrived. Nolan was waiting impatiently at the entrance. He thought Shyla was playing tricks on him, so he was very dissatisfied. When Shyla arrived, he frowned and said coldly, "You're late. I thought you stood me up again today!"

"I'm sorry to stand you up. Let's go in."
Although there was not much change on Shyla's face, the atmosphere of the Civil Affairs Bureau made her feel depressed, as if a knife had stabbed into her heart. She didn't know what hurt more, the heart or the stomach.
Both of them sat silently without any interaction. The officer who handled the divorce procedure told them to think about it before getting the divorce papers, but Nolan directly replied, "No, it's not necessary. We've already thought it through."
Shyla was in a state of despair and she hesitated when both of them were asked to sign their names on the paper. However, in the blink of an eye, she saw Nolan sign his name without hesitation.
Holding the pen tightly, Shyla's tears fell down on the paper. "Can't it wait any longer? Why do we need to divorce now?" Shyla asked herself repeatedly. She struggled to put down her name and was reluctant to hand over the paper to the person in charge.
When the seal was placed on the divorce paper, all ties between them were finally broken, and so was in Shyla's heart, a burning stamp branded her heart.
Holding the divorce paper, Shyla was speechless while she wiped away the tears.
"Nolan, don't you know that I can't bear to divorce you, just like how I had never given up on you for the last thirteen years. Why didn't you wait for a while? I told you before, that I would release you from me." Shyla thought silently.
Nolan left right away without looking at Shyla's face at all, so he did not notice that something was amiss with her. Shyla looked at Nolan's back tearfully. This was probably the last time she would be seeing him and he still gave her a view of his back.
"It had been five years, I thought I would be able to break through the walls around his heart, even just a little bit. Guess what? I'm unable to do anything. Now I get to know, I'm a big failure either in this marriage or in my love, or my life." she thought heavy-heartedly, looking at his retreating back.
With a pale look on her face, Shyla walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau slowly. It was a sunny day but Shyla felt very cold. She did not know if it was because of her illness or because of her reluctance to divorce as she felt like dying.
Dragging her tired body, Shyla lifted her eyes to see Ekta in Nolan's car. Both Ekta and Nolan looked like an ideal couple together. Shyla bit her lips while she stared at them. A mouthful of blood gushed out of her stomach. Shyla covered her mouth as blood trickled from between her fingers.
Nolan happened to look her way and saw that Shyla had used a paper towel to cover her mouth. Turning away, she left the Civil Affairs Bureau under Nolan's gaze.
