"Are you mad!!" argon shouted in a whisper while pulling me back, "What do you think you are doing going in there alone?" he asked me. "But something is fishy over there and they even took a girl with them" "You can't interfere with them Morana" I was shocked when my brother said that even knowing that something wrong was happening in there. "Who owns that place?" I asked almost swearing at him, but he didn't reply, why? Who is it that you can't even tell your sister about it and even let such bad this happen? I wanted to ask him this but I decided to stay silent. We went back as in nothing had ever happened but everyone knew that it was something that can't be said. I straight away went to my room and locked the door with my aura and yes the whole door turned black and no one could come close except father but he didn't come to me. Meanwhile, Father, Brother Argon, and sister Liana were in father's office and talking for a while, and the rest of the house was still surprised by the black door didn't come on my floor. Although they loved me, the aura makes everyone get scared of me. I need to go there and look at what happening and save that girl, I was a police officer in my past and I can't let this happen.
"Dawn we need to go there," I said with a stem expression and he knew that it was very important to me "Alright let's go" using dawn's power we teleported to the same place where I was caught by my brother Argon. "You need to be careful," said dawn who was in his cat form. "Don't worry I won't get hurt" I surrounded myself with aura and went inside through the door with the sword Theo gave me. The room was a basement room and it was completely dark and as I went down some light was to be seen and there were some cages and inside it were girls of different ages but all had red hairs which were too suspicious. Few guards were at the entry of the cages and the rest were at the back drinking. But who owns this place and what's with putting girls in the cage and suddenly the door opened so I hid through dawn's power and waited for the person to go in. "You all need to be careful because I just got the news that someone saw you bringing that girl here," he said. How did he know and who told him? It was just me and bing rother argon, he would not do that then who? Did someone at our home heard us or someone was following us but who and I couldn't even realize? I will take with my brother argon about it later. "Make sure to keep your eyes open and why is no one outside the door guarding?" said the man again, he looks smart though. He took the right time to come and tell them to be careful but who is he? No one is calling his name or anything and he is even hiding his face with a mask. "Dawn tell me when this guy reaches too far away from here, I will destroy this place and take those children somewhere else and will find a way to send them back" "okay, are you gonna interfere with it?" "You too?" "It's not like I mind but your brother told you not to interfere and what if this gets more bad later?" "Yes" As we were talking through telepathy suddenly that man started walking towards me, I knew he can't see me but I felt scared after a long time but he turned at a point and went outside. So there are more people stronger than me and even my family has not shown the real power they have. I couldn't do it, I was not able to move and destroy this place or protect these children. "I can't do it, right? I am not strong enough right?" "I know it hurts not being able to do anything but this feeling will help you grow morana" dawn said but all I know was I am weak. I looked for the last time at those girls, they were silently crying and trying not to make a sound. All I can do is watch, I left from there and went back through dawn's power, yes it is also dawn's power and not mine, funny. As I reached my room father was sitting on the chair near the window and looking outside "YOU CAME?" he asked without looking back. "Yes father" I couldn't face him, I don't know why I kept looking down, he got up walked towards me then patting my head he left. I cried after a long time, I cried real bad.
A few days later I left for the university, my father came with me but we didn't talk much, I didn't talk much, because all I could not think of was the girls there and helpless me. As we reached the university gate many people turned towards our carriage and some even came close so they could greet our father and see the hidden daughter who is rumored to be cursed. Samara came back after a while and dawn hid, we went to eat at the dining hall a lot of people were present and as soon as they saw me, they started whispering, which was getting on my nerve but I ignored it and we took our seat at a corner when some girls came towards us and coincidently on of them was Miranda, the third prince's so-called fiance. "It's good to meet you Lady Morana, I have heard a lot about you," she said, I knew she will try to pick a fight with me. "I too have heard a lot about you from someone," I said smiling, she knew who I was talking about and went back with her friends, that went well I thought but it was just the start of more such shits.
