Shiao opened his drawer by the bedside and removed a photo frame. It was a picture of him with Ana. This was taken on her graduation day when he went to celebrate with her.
In the picture, Ana looked bright and beautiful with her natural smile.
Shiao sighed and placed the picture back and closed the drawer. He stood up and went into the bathroom.

Lin Shen was playing the piano when his fingers quivered. He moved his fingers from the board and looked at his left hand that was quivering.
Lin Shen stood up and went to the window. The past suddenly came back to him.

Ten years ago in Xuimin City.
Hall of Fame Piano Academy.
Lin Shen walked out of the academy with three of his friends. They walked to the roadside and waited for the traffic light to turn red. They were in their uniforms of cardigan and black trousers.
A girl wearing a high school uniform suddenly ran passed them to cross the road. She didn't pay attention to the road signs and simply dashed off.
Lin Shen looked at her and turned. He saw a car speeding towards the school girl. Everyone held their breaths and watched with horrified expression.
Without thinking twice, Lin Shen threw his bag off and ran towards the girl. He got to the middle of the road where the girl was and held her uniform, pulling her back. He fell down along with the girl and a motorcycle rider who didn't see them early ran his front tire on Lin Shen's right hand.
Lin Shen screamed and his friends ran to him when the cars stopped. But the school girl stood up and ran across the road without looking back.

Lin Shen came back to his senses and looked at his hand. He muttered to himself. ''I am going to find you and make you pay for what you did''
Lin Shen turned and went to his room. He pulled out an old box and opened it. Inside the box was the bag that that school girl had left behind that time.
Lin Shen looked at the bag keenly and muttered, ''I know you are somewhere out there. I will definitely settle my scores with you one day''
Lin Shen placed the bag back and closed the box. He pushed the box back to its place and went to his bed.

Next day…
Ana and Jessy's apartment.
Ana walked out of her apartment with the refuse in her hands. She was wearing a loose grey loungewear with a pair of slippers. Her hair looked messy and unkempt.
''Look at you enjoying being unemployed'' Shanshan said after taking a photo of Ana with her iPhone.
Ana turned to look at her and muttered, ''I was wondering why my life was so peaceful these past few days. It was because you were missing from it''
''Ana, how does it feel to be back to square 1? No, it should be square zero, right? Because you don't have anything to your name again. You are jobless and it looks like no company wants to hire you because of your scandalous ways. Times like these, I actually feel pity for you'' Shanshan said and looked at Ana as she sorted out the refuse.
''Who said I don't have anything to my name? I have money. I saved like a crazy dog while I was working. I can live off it for a long time''
''What about after the money is gone? What are you going to do?''
''I will think of that slowly as I go. There is no hurry in life, right?'' Ana turned to look at her. She scanned Shanshan's outfit and asked, ''did your brother see you when you were leaving the house?''
''You… what do you mean?''
''You look more like a whore than a rich family's daughter. Shanshan, I get that you want to show off your worth but you should wear something that actually fits with your body. You are trying too hard'' Ana said shaking her head.
''Ana, you shut up!'' Shanshan glared at Ana.
''You are the one who came to my house and you want me to shut up?''
''Just wait and see, I am going to get back at you. I am going to upload this picture on the internet and put a nice caption to it'' Shanshan said and walked towards her car.
''Wait!'' Ana stopped her.
''What?'' Shanshan asked.
''There is something I forgot to tell you. Thanks to getting fired, I got a new job proposal to work with your lovely Shen'er'' Ana smirked smugly as she spoke.
''What?'' Shanshan exclaimed and walked back to Ana, ''you… explain it clearly. What did you mean by that?''
''I can't tell you the details because it's confidential, so let's leave it at that'' Ana said and walked towards her door.
Shanshan screamed and yelled alone in the neighborhood before getting into her car.
After she drove away, Ana closed the curtain she had pulled aside to look at Shanshan. She turned to the hall with a smile on her face.
''Serves you right for trying to mess with me''
Ana looked around and murmured, ''what should I do next? I should get dressed and take a walk before going to Jessy''

Andrew sat at the head of the meeting table, directing the meeting for the month.
''As for the next issue of our magazine, I was thinking that if we could get Yu Lin Shen as our brand endorser it would give the company a good image. Since he was willing to do the cover shoot for us, if Mr. Lee confronts him about becoming a part of the company, I don't think it will be a bad idea'' Alex Wang, the team leader for Editing department spoke.
