''I'm home…'' Veta said as she went to sit down in the hall.
''You are home! I thought you were working overtime tonight. Why did you come home so late?'' Costine asked as she played cards with Atalia.
''I just had a meeting and it ended late. A VIP patient came in and we had to attend a briefing on their health.'' Veta explained.
''Where is Darling?'' Veta asked.
''She is sleeping. She waited for you until she couldn't no more and went to bed. Maya sent her to her room a while ago.'' Atalia replied.
''Oh, I see!'' Veta stood up when Darling's door opened and Maya came out. Without waiting for another minute, Veta went straight to her room, ignoring Maya's calls.
''Veta…'' Maya sighed and looked at the door. She went to the hall and saw Atalia and Costine looking at her.
