When they walked to the car, Leo opened the backdoor for Darling while Maya sat at the front with him at the driver's seat. Leo turned to look at Maya. Her head was lowered and she seemed to be in a bad mood.
Darling stretched her neck from the backseat and touched Maya's shoulder asking, ''mummy, are you alright?''
''Of course, Darling. Who am I?'' Maya turned and faked a smile as she looked at Darling. She noticed Leo's gaze on her but she was too embarrassed to look at him.
''My mummy is Maya Dawson and she is a superwoman.''
''One and only.'' Maya chuckled.
''I asked the uncle to pretend to be your new boyfriend. I'm sorry, I should have asked for your permission before doing that. I just didn't want you to be bullied by that man.'' Darling looked at Maya with a cute smile.
''It's okay. You wanted to help a sister out, right?'' Maya played with Darling's hair.
