"So, you are really dating him?" Mr. Cress exclaimed. For him, he didn't want anyone to snatch his daughter from him, so he was quite serious to hear that his daughter suddenly got a boyfriend when she didn't even have a friend until now.
"Dating?".
Cynthia innocent gaze at first stared her father and then fell on Mrs. Reynard as she slightly tilted her head that was filled with questions.
"Well, I told your parents about you and my son relationship. Were you thinking of keeping it a secret from them?" Mrs. Reynard said it slyly while throwing a look at Mr. and Mrs. Cress.
Cynthia gave silence as a reply. She was dumbfounded. Trying so hard to avoid any relationship with him, she was, in the end, was cornered into a dead end.
After two minutes of silence and giving it a serious thought on what would be a better way to get out of this situation, she finally nodded, since she admitted that Mrs. Reynard excuse was the best.
