He suddenly got a call and without waiting any longer he left his seat and then the room after signalling his aunt with a nod.
"Why isn't there a nurse in the room?" as soon as he stepped inside the next room, he saw Cynthia sitting on the bed with her leg crossed and except her, no one was present inside, not even the nurse who was specially placed to take care of the girl.
"Forget about nurse, where have you been?" irritatingly she said.
From a few moments earlier, Cynthia got really worried after not seeing Ed. She was injured but since the one who took the real blow was Ed, she become anxious by the thought that something might would've happened to him.
If not for him to returning back to the room, she would've walked out and looked for him here and there with a tensed look.
Ed let out a sigh and moved closer to her, "Are you ok?" he asked, his hand warmly felt her head.
