"Where have you been?" Wayne asked. He stepped inside the office of CEO who was none other than Ed and let out a sigh. At the midnight they were still in the office but it was a bit different than before.
Earlier Ed used to be in his office all the time but not today. Wayne looked for him everywhere after 10 pm, when his call didn't reached Ed then he stopped by his office and stayed there waiting for him since the only place where Ed returned to was either his office or his house.
But most often it was his office and after waiting for him for more than an hour, finally his patience paid off.
Ed looked more tired than ever but there was a saccharine smile that he kept hidden beneath his face. There was also a slight hint of irritation in his eyes.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" he interrupted the silence after getting no response for a long time.
