"Why? Am I not allowed here?" she looked around and then fixed her eyes at him.
There was the branch of Thomas and co. just opposite of the main branch of VIST and while looking around in hope to familiarize herself to these already familiar surroundings, she walked inside Ed's company.
It was by mistake and now that she has come across him, she looked around more properly and even stared at Ed's ID card and some other things only to realize that this was the wrong place she shouldn't have taken.
Before Ed could say even a single word, Cynthia replied with an awkward smile, "Sorry, my bad, I came to the wrong place".
She dipped her hand on the backside pocket and took out her phone, "Since this isn't my destiny, I will kindly take my leave, sir".
Her awkward and fake smile wasn't the biggest thing surprising him, rather it was she herself the biggest one.
