The surrounding wasn't that good. Penetrating eyes with ill motive were making her feel obnoxious but still it wasn't enough to break the bridge of her courage and give in to them.
She looked down and tilted her head with a really amused smile as if she was faced by some funny people and then finally turned her head up after putting a sad face.
"But the contract said that I must be married to him around this week yet I can't because my parents are not here. You won't force me to do such a gruesome thing, will you, Mr. Moss and my dear cousin?".
That pitiful look as she said those words wasn't enough to fool Shreya but how can she tell her to do a marriage when her parents just disappeared, that really felt inhuman.
