Cynthia blinked twice acting as if she didn't hear it whereas the assistant of the shop become worried that a fight might start soon as it was not a new thing between girls to fight for clothes.
The fight involved their family name and if it didn't work, maybe their hair will also be involved and later everything but not brain.
Those women will fight brainlessly over it, so before such thing could happen in her shop she stood between Cynthia and Ricky.
Confronting Ricky, she said nervously, "Miss, it's a design Mrs. Cress chose first and even paid for it. We can't sell it to you. You might look at the other dresses".
Ricky again sneered and took a step ahead cornering the little assistant, "Call your manager, I will talk to her".
"Miss, she has already left for some business. You can't meet her until tomorrow," the little assistant gathered her courage and said it firmly.
She was standing there while facing Ricky since she was also worried about Cynthia losing her fight even before giving it a try, after all, she heard the rumour of her being an introvert.
And now after seeing her silent at those provocative words, she was sure the rumours were true until…
"Miss. Lily, step back".
Cynthia said to the solicitous girl.
The assistant girl was shocked. How come Cynthia knew her name? she thought about it for a while and then dropped the thought when she saw Cynthia coming forward to face it herself.
And Lily went with the flow without knowing what took over her, but the confident and calm look in Cynthia was really reliable.
"Oh… so, the ugly duckling is goona have a fight". Ricky said with a giggle as she exchanged a gleeful look with Arial.
Arial was laughing, too. But she was controlling herself from insulting Cynthia directly as she was using Ricky instead.
"Hmm… what is your sugar daddy doing here?" Cynthia pointed behind them where one could only see clothes and clothes yet Ricky was so, foolish to quickly look back without grasping the situation.
Cynthia took advantage of it and snatched the dress with ease and since the dress was back, there was no need to trouble herself with them.
"You…! Liar! Give it back to me". Ricky rough tone was similar to her rough way of snatching it back.
But not against Cynthia whose move almost made her fall right on her face full of make-up.
Cynthia let out a sigh seeing Arial grabbing Ricky hand to stop her fall, "Thank goodness you didn't fall, or else the floor would had been dirtied by your thick makeup and if that happened, your sugar daddy would have become confused who was his real girlfriend. You or this floor".
That was a hard blow to Ricky ego whereas Arial almost swallowed.
Before she kept thinking that Cynthia was just lying for a moment about her introvert nature to become the hire to her parent's company but now those thoughts no longer remained in her mind.
There was no way this girl was an introvert rather she was a killer with her words and Arial was fully aware of the fact that if Cynthia opens that spectacle, the ugly rumour she tried hard to spread without being noticed will come to an end.
"Ricky, let it go. We can look for some other dress," Arial quickly stopped her after seeing that Cynthia attitude was out of her league.
"No. how can I let such an ugly duckling buy a dress you should have worn!" Ricky frowned and sneered looking at Cynthia.
Through her clenched teeth, she spoke again, "I know that you are going to attend the party hosted tomorrow and we are also going there but Cynthia, let me remind you. Just the way everyone ignored you today in classes, I will make tomorrow's party a hell for you if you won't stop fooling around"
"Just fuck off and leave. If you want a dress then go and cry in front of your sugar daddy. He might get you one," Cynthia gave a savage reply and turn around throwing a look at Lily.
"Where is the changing room?"
Lily swallowed feeling dumbfounded.
From the moment Cynthia stepped to take what belonged to her, those two who appeared to be some big shot looked like a mouse.
Lily shook her head praising Cynthia loudly in her head and pointed at the right direction.
Cynthia nodded and ignoring the two fools in swag, she walked past many dresses but stopped when Ricky said, "Its not over yet, Cynthia! You will regret it for your whole life".
Cynthia didn't even give them a look and scoffed while shrugging her shoulder as she left.
