Rather than stepping directly inside the room, Cynthia thought of staying silent near the door and eavesdrop on their conversation and she could had done it if not dr. Yale to startle her.
"Are you not going inside?" she spoke from behind, making Cynthia almost jump in fear and then she took a deep breath to calm herself but got spotted by Ed unfortunately.
"Cynthia?".
She glanced back at Ed and then threw a look back at dr. Yale, "No, I was about to go inside".
Her lips almost trembled but she controlled it and walked inside. Momentarily, she also observed the cool doctor, who after asking a question walked to the other ward.
"Why are you here?".
While she was looking at dr. Yale passing by the ward 228, her attention was yanked by his loud voice and she lifted her brows and shook her head, "Umm… what do you mean by that question".
