Pathetic right? I was slowly realizing how pathetic my situation I was but the love that filled my heart towards him blurred it all away in a few minutes and I returned to my room. If I witnessed someone do what I was doing, I would have labeled him a fool. A big fool!

"The king is in danger," my cat announced the following day when I inquired about her progress with finding any clue about the gate and the missing persons.
I was shocked by the sudden surprising news but I remained calm. That was all fake because I could feel the sea of my emotions bellowing anxiously. I was his fiancé and if he was in danger that meant I was in danger too, right? It was scary enough that the king was in danger.
"What happened? What makes you think that?" I asked her hurriedly as I sat on the rug unable to keep sitting still on the sofa.
"I think he lost control. His brother wants the throne," she replied confidently.
