I received news that my sister came to visit so early the following day. I was still at the table eating my breakfast. I told them to invite her over. She was displeased and she did not try to hide it when I saw her days ago.
I ordered them to serve her breakfast when she walked into the dining room. I was eating alone with my cat doing whatever she was that got her too busy to pay me any attention.
I smiled at her. She was very nice to me even until we parted when I had to leave for work. I guess she simply felt betrayed and that was very understandable.
She sat down reluctantly I could feel the coldness she felt towards me. It was most likely a few steps from hatred. She fixed her gaze on me silently without touching the food even as I continued eating.
