Chapter 63 - The devil?

At this point, I did not think before I spoke. I wanted to avoid overthinking and not thinking. I met his gaze and I tried to understand what the looks in his eyes meant. 

I could not make them out but what I saw was pure danger. His brother had that dangerous look in his eyes too but this was different. It had me standing up hurriedly with a strong desire to escape that place. 

This was an unfamiliar world to me and trying to understand things using earthly logical explanations was difficult. Not just difficult but almost impossible. 

If I wanted to know more, without overthinking, I was going to do as the king said. I went to his study. It surprised me how I easily found my way around the house as I have always lived there. 

I knocked on the door and I was invited in. I pushed open the door and walked in. The king raised his head from whatever he was reading.
