I swallowed as I opened my eyes to see the lit screen before my eyes. My eyes got misty as I had to hold back my tears. why do I care? I murmured, "You did the right thing and I should be selfish." I scrolled and I could not hold back my tears anymore.
This was what I got for caring. I felt the urge to delete the picture he had posted but I stopped and looked at the man before. I spread my hands for him to hug me which he did without a second of making me wait.
He pulled me closer and rubbed my forehead which was furrowed. "You should smile. I love you most in the world and I don't care about them. I don't like sharing my love with them too so you have to stop caring so much about them."
"I won't worry about anyone else anymore," I told him firmly and pressed my face against his chest. "I want to eat some homemade food."
"Do you want that now?" he asked.
