"Could you leave?" Tae-sung's voice was deep and cold when he spoke those seemingly polite words.
She was taken aback and looked at him to confirm what she heard he nodded to indicate that he meant his words and she was calm enough to nod. She glanced at me before obediently walking out.
"You . . ." I began but my words stopped in my throat when I felt a pair of hands wrap around my body pulling me against a muscled chest.
"You are going to be okay with me, don't worry," he whispered. His warm breath blew against my neck as he spoke.
I smiled and nodded before burying my face into his shoulder. He rubbed my back soothingly and despite how much I tried to hold back, I could not as my tears stubbornly escaped my eyes wetting the fabric my face rested against.
"I know," I murmured as the tears refused to stop despite how hard I tried to make it. "I feel so pathetic," I sobbed.
