"Are you sure, he'll be alright when left inside this place, Melly?"
"Yes, Milady. I'm sure that people inside here are very kind"
"Alright then, we'll have to pay for his me----"
Victoria wasn't able to finish what she was saying when Melly cut her off
"Milady, it was a foundation founded by the emperor and any people always come here for their health problems without any charge"
"Seriously?"
"Yes, Milady. It's because of this reason that the empire was one of a prosperous empire"
'I haven't thought of that yet. In the novel, there was no kind of place like this. It wasn't even mentioned that the emperor had something to do with some foundations like this that offer free health services. I was so engulfed with the story of the love interests of the male leads towards the female lead that I haven't even given any importance with these kinds of things'
"Milady, are you alright?"
"Oh, very much alright Melly. It's because we just saved a young boy's child today and it was also thanks to Sir Howald"
"Milady, if you haven't made me realize about the knight code then I might as well forgot what's like to be a knight so I'm the one who should be grateful to you, Lady Victoria"
"Oh well, I guess it's just my continuous pursuit of knowledge that's why I said those words"
After saying those words, Melly's building up suspicions had suddenly calmed down again. Now, when the two people saw how happy Victoria was --- they immediately looked at each other and smiled. They knew that they did the right thing because it was what Victoria told them to do.
'I guess the lady was a person who was now kind and helpful to others. I haven't even forgotten what she always said to us even when we're at the Berry's. She always aspires for a comfortable life and I guess living in a comfortable life means helping people around her'
With those thoughts, Melly couldn't be more happy and proud towards Victoria. She didn't even know it but her lips had already formed a genuine smile towards the smiling lady
"Now, I guess it's time for us to go out here"
"Yeah, Milady"
"Milady, I also have the place where you could look around and see what ladies are talking about"
Howald suggested that only made the two of them raise their eyebrows however, immediately answered
"Yes?"
"Well, you two might love it!"
"O-Okay! Let's go!"
Then again, Victoria happily responded. Ever since a kid in her previous world, she always dreamt of having her adventures. She dreamt that she was on a deserted island surviving for years there but she's happy. She also dreamt of being inside a trip to different place all alone and she enjoyed such dreams. However, when she always wakes up, her reality always slapped her hard in the face because she had more things to prioritized rather than having her adventures. Besides, her mother was a strict and know-it-all one so that was what limit her interactions with the world
Then Howald led the two of them in front of a store that he was talking about with them earlier. However, the two ladies expressions weren't what he had expected to see
"Seriously Sir Howald, in here?"
"Oh, not in this place!"
Howald was the one who said because he was unconsciously pointing to a dress shop where all the dresses were revealing and there even says a sign "For mature and adult women" that made Howald's face redder than before.
'What is Sir Howald even thinking about?'
Melly thought however, Victoria was now in awe when she found what Howald was truly pointing at
"Melly, Sir Howald was pointing to this. He must have been unconsciously pointing at the other side of the store"
"Milady it was still inappro---"
"However, Melly wasn't able to continue what she was saying when Victoria had held her sleeves and began pointing what Howald was supposed to be pointing
"Oh! So it was of that!"
"That is what I'm trying to say to you, Melly and Milady however, you didn't believe me that I was only---"
"Well, for now we already believe you Sir Howald"
Victoria said smilingly as the two of them went ahead inside the store leaving Howald shaking his head while smiling afterward
'These two truly seems to be into the place than what I've been saying earlier'

"Your highness, it seems like the clinic here is full"
"Then let's go to the other ones. I know that Hersha had been staying in one of these clinics"
'Sometimes, I don't even understand why his highness was so into a mere slave --- more like his personal maid. But who wouldn't right? That mere slave had a silver hair and gorgeous green eyes that anyone can be captivated to. That's why he can't let her go. I pity his fiancée but if his fiancée is someone like Lady Victoria then might as well not at all'
The butler couldn't help but heave a sigh and shook his head. It's because of the complicated scenario that they were in
It all happened earlier an hour ago
"Your highness, it one of our maid servant here had reported to the head butler about seeing Hersha to one of the clinics in the market"
"Are you even sure of that Piel?"
"Yes, your highness"
"Alright, then let's go"
"Wait your highness, aren't you doing something more important right now?"
"Those things aren't considered important than Hersha. She's my priority right now so I have no choice but to find her, Piel"
'Here we go again, isn't that called an obsession?'
Piel wanted to say those words however, he only kept her mouth shut and nodded as he bowed respectfully towards the crown prince
Going back to the current situation, they were inside the clinic disguised as a commoner and walking around with a coat to hide their appearance.
"Your highness, I guess this is the last clinic of the market"
"Is this the only one left?"
"I'm afraid it is, your highness"
"Alright, let's go"
'I hope I'll be able to find Hersha in here. If it wasn't for that night then I would have Hersha still serving me inside the imperial household. I wanted to put all the blame to Lady Victoria but it seems like she doesn't even have any recollection about the happening of the event. More likely, she doesn't remember such event from her memory loss. That's why I can't blame her, besides she already changed'
Charles could only heave a sigh as they walked inside the clinic. His father had built the clinic. A clinic is free of anything for every citizen's health. However, it was only available for commoners.
They were about to enter some of the rooms there to see Hersha when they heard such gasps and murmurs behind them. When Charles turned around, he only saw a very familiar face. However, when that familiar face changed --- he wasn't even annoyed to see the lady anymore
'Lady Victoria? Why is she even here? don't tell me---'
Charles didn't continue what he was thinking when he saw a knight and a maid servant besides Victoria. The knight was carrying a bloodied child in his arms, which fainted, and the maid as well as Victoria had some concerning and worried face.
'No, she can't possibly know some of those. Besides, she's here with a knight and her maid. Probably she wanted to save the young bo---'
Then again before Charles could even finished what he was thinking his eyes suddenly widened and when Piel --- his personal knight had seen such reactions from the crown prince, looked to where he was looking and did the same thing that crown prince was doing.
Piel couldn't understand why however, he only raised one of his eyebrows while looking back and forth from Victoria to Charles. In reality, Charles hadn't yet informed about the lady's current condition. All he knew was she loss her memories however, he wasn't informed that the lady also changed.
'Don't tell me that Lady Victoria was here because there was Lady Hersha? She always seemed irritated at her whenever she's visiting the crown prince in the imperial household'
Piel upon thinking those kinds of thoughts put both of his hands towards his mouth and was about to hold his breathe when Charles was the one to shake his head and heave a sigh.
'Why does the crown prince even more calm? He should've been worried that Lady Victoria might do something bad towards Hersha!'
Continuing what he was doing --- holding his breathe, wasn't enough to describe how shock he was. His eyes went wide enough that made him wanted to shake both Charles' shoulders and confront him about the lady being inside the clinic
However, when Charles looked at Piel he only shook his head again and sigh
'Wait why is the crown prince like this? He's not supposed to be like this! He must be agitated. He must confront Lady Victoria and warn her again. I knew that the lady had loss her memories however, that wasn't enough if she can feel in her heart what she would do!'
"Piel, would you please breathe naturally. Besides, Lady Victoria wasn't the person that you used to know anymore. She changed, accompanied by her memory loss"
"What?!"
He unconsciously exclaimed that made the crown prince heave a sigh again then looked at him seriously
"I-I'm s-sorry your highness, I-I was only s-surprised"
Piel whispered because he doesn't want to gather so much attention towards the people inside the clinic
"No, it's alright besides I should've informed you earlier about the situation that we're in. Didn't you see that the lady had her knight and maid besides her. Now, they're currently inside one of those emergencies making the young boy heal fromsuch injuries"
"Truly, your highness!"
"Shhhhh!"
"O-Oh s-sorry a-again your highness"
Now he was back to whispering towards Charles
"Come in here"
Then they sat towards the farthest corner of the clinic. Then Charles began explaining about the lady and him
"Oh! I haven't even realized how mush she changed based on your words, your highness"
"It's true and you'll know it better once meeting her in person"
"I-I guess your highness. However, if she's here then Lady Hersha might be or might not be here"
"I'm expecting she's here besides, Lady Victoria hadn't even wanted to be engaged with me anymore so there's no bigger threat towards Hersha's life except for those other nobles"
"…"
Instead of immediately replying his eyes widened again yet, because Charles had already explained to him earlier about the questions building up to his mind, his face softened. Then, he only shook his head and heave a sigh like he was usually doing when he's concerned about the crown prince
"Your highness I only hope for the best to you, to the imperial family and the whole empire"
