As Ashiel thought of those words, he suddenly smirked not only for the young man he was seeing but with the young lady he had known as one of the maidservant within the imperial household

He doesn't even know why but couldn't get his mind out of some doubts. At first, if that was the maid within the empire, how come she hadn't killed the crown prince in her stay? Other than that, he had never known the truth about those figures, and that young man captured and hypnotized the lady
The rest was history, and so it wouldn't take him long enough to understand if someone had told him the truth
