After selecting yes to upgrade the ability, a new screen appeared:

Seeing this pop up, Milo checked the description of the ability to see what changes had occurred. The largest change made it so he could read the thoughts of all beasts, it didn't have to be one of Milo's tames. This was a major change for two reasons, first it would allow him to read the thoughts and communicate with other tames beasts like Waki, making him able to be more versatile with his teammates. Along with this, he could read the thoughts of wild beasts, meaning he could learn who they were targeting and also what they planned to do next, allowing him to plan his strategies accordingly. The only downside was that the ability returned to level one, but it would most likely remain at the same strength as before the upgrade just with the added effects included.
