"Daughter, how about Evan's parents? Have they accepted you?" Molly worries that her past will make Evan's parents reject her daughter.
Rose was silent for a moment. Evan's father hasn't given his blessing, but his mother really likes her. And for her, Evan's mother's blessing is enough.
"Yes, sure, mom!" Rose paused as she realized her mother must not have known that Evan's mother was Aunty Doris, her doctor. "Mom, you will be shocked if you know who Evan's mother is…."
Molly frowns, looking at her daughter. "Did I know her? Is she a public figure?" She was worried if Evan's family wasn't from ordinary people like her. Her daughter would definitely have a hard time dealing with her future in-laws.
Her daughter might be cast out of the Evan family. Just thinking about it makes Molly's heart feel slightly aching. She couldn't let it happen. She couldn't bear to hear or see her daughter poorly treated by her in-laws.
