"Hi, Mr. Steve Adkins… I'm so glad you'd call me." Rose smiles happily. Finally, the company she wants to acquire is interested in her offer.
She continues, "But, I'm really sorry, Mr. Adkins, I can't go to the capital. I have to stay in East City because my family is being treated at the hospital. Can we make a plan to meet next week?"
"I'm sorry for your family, Ms. Rose Wilson. Don't worry, I'm currently in East City. I'm in town until tomorrow afternoon. So, if you are ready to meet me, call me anytime. I will come to you…."
Rose immediately set up an appointment with Steve Adkins this evening. The sooner she meets him, the better. She didn't want to waste time. Worried that other investors' proposals would attract his interest before her business proposal.
