Little Ka Hyun-Su opened his eyes. His heart skipped a beat, and beads of sweat appeared on the little boy's face.
He looked up at the ceiling of the room where he lay, and no, it wasn't where he expected it to be. He wanted the previous room.
Hyun-Su woke up, sweeping his gaze across the room. There were dozens of small beds lined up along the left and right he looked at. The sun's rays entered through the glass windows and fell on his skin, making it feel stinging.
"Dad… Mom…"
This was not the place he hoped for. He needed his father. He needed his mother.
It had only been a while since he had played with them, but he had returned to a place he had never liked.
"Mom… Where are you?" Hyun-Su missed his mom's cooking. He missed his mom's smile when he threw a tantrum because his stomach was full, but his mom still forced him to eat.
