"Did you hear the rumours?" Lilly asked Maia. "No, what rumours?" Maia asked. "That, when an Acalaran King touches a woman, they become paralysed, not being able to walk and talk, and then they become enslaved to their masters" Lilly smirked and chuckled.
"That's an old wives' tale, Lilly." Maia scoffed. "No, its' not, I heard they are true" said the new servant girl whom Leon brough back from the Land of Noland.
"Hmm…" Maia thought within herself, as this intrigued Maia, as the King had touched her shoulder the night before and nothing happened, but she never was paralysed, so she thought, but she didn't want the others to know, to avoid a scandal over an innocent act.
