"Heh, well, that time I did reinstate her…. Things did get interesting from there, didn't
it, Maia?
I thought to myself as I stared at Maia's building across in the distance from my
apartment. Like I said earlier, some things just don't change… well, at least I know…
she is now within reach…. I said under my breath as my eyes glowed a bright deep
blue and my powers radiated around me, trembling and quaking my apartment for a
moment as I powered down.
I turned my back to go back inside as the wind breezed across my face, turning my
back on the city lights as I looked down for a moment, then looking up to face the
empty room, then glanced behind me as I stared at her building in the distance….
