"Marriage?" Vincent almost scoffed.
Never in his twenty-one years of life has he thought of marriage now that he's about to set in the seas again, looking for adventure. The emperor knew about his plans and their plans, so why was he suggesting marriage in the first place?
It was a horrendous thought.
Vincent raised his brow, amused. "Surely, you could be mistaken." He assumed.
No, more like he insisted on wanting to be sure that what he heard was not close to any marriage as possible.
His subordinate, Felip, shook his head. He was sweating from his head and neck, staining his white uniform. He was under the squadron commanded by Captain Halstead. Hence, he often sees and witnesses how little patience and bloody he can get when his wants are not met.
Still, Captain Halstead had displayed camaraderie over the past years that most of his subordinates were loyal and they trusted him.
