The emperor's command, order, and authority had a political dominion over the country's state affairs, and he deserved obedience, respect, and imitation for his command alone. 

That was why, if his words did not contradict the laws of the country and endanger his subjects of any sort of harm, his command would be revered and accepted with respect no matter how unreasonable it was. 

But this command coming from Emperor Cassius was not deemed to be an unreasonable nor an irresponsible act. In fact, it was the only natural way of order and actions for the Halstead duchy, one of the promising powers that supported the crown's need for an heir for a vacant throne. 

Vincent Raphael Halstead was the only surviving member of the Halstead family. 

No matter the nobles' words, he has the right to inherit the title of their predecessors.
