Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Vincent can't breathe.
His whole body was shaking.
Monsters were chasing him. A few more stairs, and they'll be able to catch up with him.
He was in the middle of the battlefield. Yet, Vincent can hear voices inside his head.
It hurts. It felt like a blunt knife was slicing his brain with great force. He can't even think.
He should have run away, but the voices kept talking. Unlike before, where the voices seemed hopeful, these voices felt like curses sinking to him, making him remember and pulling him from his flesh.
Does it even make any sense?
Yet, Vincent didn't give up. Blood poured out his nose, eyes, ears, and even mouth.
Vincent continued to persist.
And like any other miracle, his cursed-covered body slowly disappeared. And on his chest, another mark appeared.
And as if another prayer was heard, Rezef and Anna came to his rescue again.
