Professor Constantine started to condense his mana on the bullets. He felt his body trembling as he tried to gain composure.
"GRRRR!"
The monsters took a step back, and their scales made a sound. Their drool stained the floor.
It seemed that they have some rationality left in them as they didn't try to rush in and attack immediately instead, with this animal instinct, they were cautious.
Seeing this behavior, Professor Constantine can't help but laugh. He never thought that monsters have such rationalities and emotions as well. Well, it might not be emotions or rationality but their instincts.
Still, he doesn't plan on giving them any pity at all.
it's either he'll die or they'll die. And god forbid that he's the one dying!
Different clusters of light enveloped Constantine. He raised his gun, hoping that his first bullet would be able to deal with these two monsters at once.
