The first-person Vincent trusted after he was betrayed by his parents. The person with whom he shared his insights, thoughts, and even the one he thought of as his elder brother, always got his back.

Vincent gazes up, meeting Klaus's sincere gaze. His right hand was on his left shoulder. Vincent tried to open his mouth to say something, but he was stuck as he was confused.
