The man flopped on the ground like a fish being deprived of water. He struggled to breathe air as if something was suffocating him.
He tried to move and fight for his remaining dignity, but nothing was left. All he could feel was pain; even the torture he had gone through felt nothing, for he was only thinking of death and ways to ease his pain.
All these people, they scoffed at him and viewed him with nothing of importance. Well, life seems to be fair about the consequences of ones actions.
This man had been at the top of the food chain before, and he had been living a life trampling others. He kills in order for him to live, even if it is just for a day, but then, with just a flick of a finger, everything that was important to him.
He had nothing left, and in front of these people, death seemed and felt like a dream for him.
