Her arms were slowly covered in darkness and Neirin could only, and helplessly let it be.

The slow reality sinking to her was making Neirin realized that there was something inside her that was holding her. Like a dog on a leash. She was stuck in one place with no place to go and no one to call to because just like how her standing portrays everything, in this fight she will always be alone.
