For a moment, Vincent's pupils dilated as he struggled to keep his thoughts straight in his head. He opened and closed his mouth as he blinked away. He suddenly felt hot and knew it was not because of the weather.
"I-Uhmm…Your grace."
He tried to keep his cool and tried to act like those words did not matter to him. However, even the way he speaks is failing him. "I'm just…." Vincent coughed as he clenched his jaw.
"Aren't you disgusted by my appearance?"
Never in his life had he ever thought of asking this question for his prestigious background before, but because of this dream, here he was.
"Why would I be disgusted?" Her smile glimmered under the light of the shop. Vincent blinked away, his hands on his lap, "I have seen far worse. Moreover, I know how people like you struggle to keep a living. That's why I wanted to help you from the beginning."
