"Monster?"
After keeping his silence for a while, Adam murmured under his breath. He looked Adlen and Thomas back and forth, not knowing how and what to ask in this situation.
The tension was still in the air. Heavy silence soon followed.
"Do you think he's lying?" Adlen looked over. His gaze was asking questions. No, it looks more like he's questioning reality right now.
Adam frowned. "Are you an idiot?" he responded, rolling his eyes. He leaned back. "I'm the one that should be asking if what he was telling was real or not. I thought that the headmaster only wanted to investigate the disappearance and serial murders of the reported nobles? How come we are discussing a topic and the possibility of monsters existing in this time and era?"
