Vincent tried to push aside all of the emotions he was feeling. Even though he knew deep inside his heart and mind that Neirin wasn't dead, the empty space of her absence was hard to bear for him.
It was an odd thought. It fascinates him even now. Yet, he feels like everything he feels is normal. A paradox that's full of complications. It's not normal.
These feelings, for Vincent, feel like it doesn't make sense. Yet, deep down, he had this gut feeling that everything would make sense.
He can feel his heart palpitations telling him that her absence still affects him no matter how he tries to convince himself that she's not dead. That he has pieces of evidence that she's not dead.
Vincent paused. Would he even call that evidence? He wondered.
