In his heart, Vincent was hopeful.
Despite all the futile efforts he made, regrets, and mistakes that keep flooding inside of him, Vincent remains hopeful.
The guilt feeling that started to torment him the moment he became aware, he knew that he will take this feeling to his grave and beg for his whole life for the forgiveness of all of his sins, for he chose to live than to save the person who had protected him.
He had hope that he'll be able to survive this. He has hope that he can still be redeemed and ask for forgiveness.
But what is this?
Blood? corpses? And even the hero he thought would save them. How could all this be happening right now?
Rezef turned his hands into a fist. The hope they were barely holding on to since earlier was now thrown away for they even doubt that someone would save them.
