Fires surrounded the area. Not a single life form could be seen. But besides the fires, an enormous fire dragon sat in the middle.
Footsteps of a human from the rocky ground were heard.
"Who is disturbing me during my peaceful time?" the Dragon asked, making the fires flow in a different direction.
"My apologies, Master, for interrupting you," the Human stopped and kneeled down with his head hanging low.
"Did you save her?" the Dragon suddenly asked.
"I..." the Human hesitated. "The only one that survived without a scratch was her daughter while they brought her brother to the hospital. I deeply apologize-"
The calm laughter of the dragon interrupted the Human.
"So the kid didn't really lie! I should have noticed this before, and none of this would have happened. My Princess, I'm sorry. I'll make sure she becomes a good holder," he said with a peaceful smile.
"M-master?" the Human stuttered in confusion.
"Train the kid well, Tamotsu, and that's an order that you should never fail."
