Chapter 40 - The 4th Continent

As Jiang Fan's journey continued through the vastness of space, his curiosity burned brighter than ever. It wasn't merely the prospect of a solitary voyage that piqued his interest; rather, it was his insatiable fascination with life in Extraterrestrial Domains. The Protoss, with his vast knowledge, held tantalizing secrets about these places. For certain life forms, their existence was nothing short of magical.

However, as the Ship's entrance opened, Jiang Fan found himself amidst a flurry of activity as passengers streamed aboard. Yet, to his dismay, none ventured into his cabin. Despite his curiosity, he refrained from venturing out, deeming it inappropriate. Nevertheless, he knew that during the journey, there would be occasional adventures. When the Ship eventually halted and docked on the edge of a distant Planet, the embarkation of new passengers commenced.

Jiang Fan's curiosity only intensified as he observed the diverse array of travelers boarding. Yet, none shared his cabin, leaving him to acclimate to a sense of isolation. Over time, he grew accustomed to the solitude, becoming desensitized to the comings and goings of fellow passengers. The relentless passage of time in the Endless Void rendered days indistinguishable from one another.

Days turned into weeks, then into months, with intermittent stops for new passengers. Throughout the arduous journey, Jiang Fan gleaned insights into the plight of Level 6 Planet Masters who braved the Void, many never to return. Despite their incredible speed, it paled in comparison to the vastness of space.

Meanwhile, back on Terra, the evolution of life progressed steadily. Technological advancements surged, particularly in the post-Aestas era. However, beyond the 1st Continent, progress with creatures on the 2nd and 3rd Continents reaching a bottleneck. Jiang Fan contemplated this as he gazed out over the boundless ocean, the largest expanse on Terra teeming with marine life.

"It's time for a 4th Continent," Jiang Fan mused, his thoughts drifting to the possibilities of new species and ecosystems.

Previously because of the sudden invasion of the Devil, his plan for a new Continent was halted. Amidst his pondering, the Ship halted once more, indicating the arrival of yet another passenger, this time occupying Jiang Fan's cabin.

Outside, footsteps echoed, snapping Jiang Fan from his thoughts.

"Is it finally here?" He wondered aloud, turning his gaze towards the door.

As the door creaked open, a graceful figure emerged, pausing momentarily before stepping inside, casting a curious glance at the cabin.
