Zhu Zhiyou resolved to keep Jiang Fan within the Council of Stars despite being unable to alter its rules. Consequently, he decided to relinquish his position as Deputy Speaker and offer it to Jiang Fan, thereby providing a win-win solution.
"Speaker Zhu," Jiang Fan shook his head and declined, "It's unnecessary."
"Please hear me out," Zhu Zhiyou insisted upon noticing Jiang Fan's neutral expression, devoid of joy or excitement. He presumed Jiang Fan might not be entirely satisfied and added, "These conditions are merely the basics. Do you know about the most prized possession of our Council of Stars?"
"The most prized possession?" Jiang Fan paused momentarily, then quickly responded, "Is it... the Super Star Island?"
"Yes," Zhu Zhiyou confirmed with a hint of pride, "Super Star Island is a treasure left behind by a great being. It's the only one of its kind in the entire Endless Star Field."
Jiang Fan's eyebrows arched in acknowledgment.
This revelation prompted him to ponder deeply. After learning numerous secrets from the Protoss, his understanding of great beings had reached a new level. They were regarded as immensely powerful entities in many Star Fields. However, had there ever been a similar existence in the Endless Star Field?
With this query in mind, Jiang Fan asked, "Could this great being be the founder of the Council of Stars?"
"It's uncertain," Zhu Zhiyou shook his head, "All we know is that the Super Star Island remains, but there's no record of the individual behind it. If you're curious..." Zhu Zhiyou glanced at Jiang Fan, his tone laced with temptation, "You could explore Super Star Island for more answers. There might be further revelations."
Zhu Zhiyou's words carried a tantalizing allure. Few could resist the allure of artifacts left behind by great beings. Yet, Jiang Fan's demeanor betrayed little internal turmoil.
Observing Jiang Fan's unwavering expression, Zhu Zhiyou felt a pang of concern. Did Jiang Fan perhaps disdain these offers? Or had he already made a decision?
"Rest assured, Speaker Zhu," Jiang Fan reassured him with a smile, "I had no intention of joining others."
Zhu Zhiyou's heart sank upon hearing this.
"But..." Jiang Fan continued, "I have my own plans, and they might not align with what you expect."
"What?" Zhu Zhiyou was caught off guard. Initially relieved by Jiang Fan's assurance, he now faced unexpected uncertainty.
"Speaker Zhu, please don't worry," Jiang Fan's smile remained serene, "It's not what you think. I intend to discuss this matter with my teacher upon my return."
"Very well, have a fruitful discussion with your teacher," Zhu Zhiyou nodded resolutely.
He resolved to ensure Lady Sabrina understood the importance of retaining Jiang Fan within the Council of Stars at any cost. Little did he know, Jiang Fan's aspirations had already shifted beyond the confines of the Endless Star Field.
