Three days later.
Agatha's life changed after her wedding three days ago, and she became a billionaire's wife, and now she lives like a princess in a fairy tale. This is what she always dream of, to have money and luxurious life and also to change her family's life.
But her father is still nowhere to be found after he decided to hide from his creditors. Agatha is the only one left to take care of her ill mother.
"Your thinking too much, isn't it bad for a person like you?" Jacob said, causing her to back in her senses.
She looks at her, confused, "What do you mean a person like me? Aren't you a person?"
"I am, but I also have powers, rawr!" He laughed.
Agatha shook her head before drinking her coffee. After her wedding, Jacob is the only one who goes with her anywhere more on bodyguard, and she's not asking why she needs a bodyguard because she already knows why.
She suddenly remembers the man on her wedding day, who is furious when he finds out that his son is already married. Her curiosity takes in, and she can't help but ask the guy who is with her.
"I know what you're going to ask, and the answer is yes," Jacob said.
"How did you know what I'm going to ask you?" She inquired.
He shrugged, "Magic?"
She rolled her eyes, "Since you are here with me, let me ask you a few things."
"Oh, an interview? Am I going to be a star?"
"Jacob!"
"Geez! I'm just joking," He said while raising his hands in surrender.
"Okay, did the man who crashed in my wedding is Zeus's father?" She started the question.
He nodded, "Yes, and he is hard to deal with."
"Why?"
"Hmm, let's say he's not kind and approachable like your thinking because if you tried, you might regret it."
She leaned in the chair she was sitting on because her suspicion was correct. Zeus's father is not approachable as she expected, and she can see the resemblance because Zeus is not approachable either.
"You know what, I admire you."
She looks at him, "Why?"
"Because you are the only girl who doesn't ask for his attention."
"What do you mean about the I am the only girl? Does he married a lot of girls before?" She asked out of curiosity.
Agatha suddenly wanted to know something about her husband; even though it was just a contract marriage, she still wanted to know even if a single piece of information about him.
"No, he's not that kind of guy."
"Why are you like this, Jacob? Don't be so suspenseful, tell me."
"Hmm," Jacob leans on the chair and looks at her suspiciously, "Are you trying to use me to get some information about Zeus?"
"Uh, kinda?"
"Well, you ask the wrong person because I know nothing about his father, although we are friends."
She suddenly loses hope of gathering some information. She wants to know more about her husband, but Zeus's friend hides it like secret files. Agatha forgot her will and focused on the coffee that was already cold, but she still drank it and got up to her seat.
Which Jacob follows her immediately like a possessive guard. She wanted to get rid of him and have time for herself, and she didn't know how to do it.
"You can't get rid of me, Agatha."
She stopped from her tracks and looked at him, "You know what? I started thinking that you could read my mind. Are you a witch or something?"
"Nope, I am not. I'm just doing what Zeus tells me to do," He replied.
"Oh, really?" She smirked, "Is that Mr. Smith?" She pointed something behind him.
"You can't fool me, Agatha."
"I'm not fooling you, look!" She insisted and pointed something behind him.
Jacob sighed deeply before looking behind him, but he saw nothing but a bunch of people walking in the street.
"There is nothin-- Agatha?" He called the young lady's name.
"Shit! She escaped me," He murmured.
This is the first time a woman managed to escape him, and now he didn't know how to explain it to Zeus, and he knew he would receive a lot of lectures from his alpha.
"I'm f*ck up," he whispered.
*********************
Agatha ran as fast as she could and didn't bother to look back, but suddenly a white van stop in front of her, and two-man pulled her inside of the van. She was about to scream for help, but the fierce eyes of Zeus's father exposed to her.
She kept her mouth shut, and not a single voice came outside to her mouth. She swallowed because of the scary expression written on his face.
"Mr. Smith.." she stuttered and held her bag tightly.
"Where is your bodyguard? Don't tell me you managed to escape from Zeus's most trusted pup?" He said as the van started to drive away from the scene.
"I didn't m-mean to, but I need to visit someone.."
Mr. Smith leaned on the chair facing her, and she averted her eyes because of the uncomfortable look she was receiving from Zeus's father.
"W-what do you want from me.." she inquired out of fear.
"I'm the one who needs to ask what you need from my son."
"I don't know what you were saying," She laughed nervously.
"You know what I'm talking about, Agatha. I know my son paid you to pretend to be his wife so tell me how much money he paid you?"
Agatha looks at him, and she can see the resemblance between Zeus and his father. When it comes to voices, they have this kind of voice like she's some gold digger that is madly in love with their money, which is correct because she only needs money from Zeus, but she's not a gold digger.
"He didn't pay me anything. I love your son and what I'm saying is true," She said with complete confidence even though her heart was beating fast.
Mr. Smith smirked, "You can't fool me because I am his father, and I know his every single plan, so tell me, how much money he paid you."
"He paid me nothing but his loyalty and love, so stop asking me that question," She insisted.
"You may not have the guts betraying him, but I know in the end you will, so why don't you leave him right now? I can offer you twice the money he offers you."
Her eyebrows furrowed, "Thanks but no thanks."
He chuckled sarcastically, "I don't know what you feed him, but you are not the right girl for my son."
"How can you tell who is the right one?"
"It's none of your business."
Suddenly the van stop, and she didn't bother to look outside of the vehicle because she was afraid that Zeus' father would do something terrible to her, and she didn't want that to happen.
She didn't know he had a strict dad, but for money, Agatha is willing to face a lot more struggles to make her mother better, and of course, her father's life wouldn't be in danger again.
"You are just like her; in the end, you will choose to leave him."
"Who are you referring to?" She asked, confused.
He ignores her question, "This is my last warning. Leave my son at once."
"No," She exhales deeply, "I love him, and I will never leave him.."
"Let's see."
After he said those words, he motioned to the two men beside her, then the vehicle door opened, and they dragged her out of the van.
"Let's see how long you will stay in his side if you find out who he really is."
That's all he said before driving away from the place. However, she was left behind sitting on the ground, and many people were looking at her, so she immediately got up and acted as nothing had happened.
She almost jumped in fear when her phone rang. She picked it up and didn't bother to look at the caller.
"Hello, who is this."
[Where the hell is you,] Zeus snarled.
Her eyes widened, "W-what do you mean? I'm with Jacob."
[Liar, he called me and told me that you escaped him.]
She's f*ck up, and she knows that Jacob is not worth her trust, and now she has to face Zeus's angry side for the first time.
[I'll pick you up, where are you.]
"I'm in the--" she looked around, and her eyes almost popped up to what she saw.
She put down her phone and ignored Zeus' questions. She was frozen in her position for seeing the hospital where her mother was. Now she knew where Mr. Smith dropped her off because he knew where her mother was.
This is the warning without knowing that marrying Zeus is a big deal because her mother's life may be in danger. If she knew being a billionaire's wife is not easy, she wouldn't marry him.
"Or maybe I reserve some plan when a time like this.." she whispered.
Agatha is not scared for her life because she was scared for her mother's life.
