"Alright, call me whatever you want.", the Empress chuckled.
"Yes, Empress. How have you been this entire month?", Ms. Yu asked.
"I am fine but it's been- hectic.", the Empress whispered softly.
"What do you mean?", Ms. Yu asked in concern.
The Empress looked behind and ordered her maids to leave them alone. Her maids bowed and left the room.
"What happened?", Ms. Yu asked as she gently held the Empress's shoulders.
"It's Tian Yang.", the Empress said as her hands started trembling.
"His Highness…? What about him?", Ms. Yu asked as her gaze hardened.
"The ministers pushed him to have a few concubines. You know about that right?"
Ms. Yu nodded.
"And I never forgave him for allowing that to happen. What about it?", Ms. Yu said.
A single tear escaped the Empress's right eye as she sobbed.
"My love and position as an Empress are in danger."
