It was our fourth day in Han Manor. Zheng and I made good on our promise with Yao Xun, heading into the market with Yi Liang, Nian Qu and Qin following along.
"4th Aunt! Look at that!" Yao Xun bounded forward, letting go of my hand as he hurried towards an accessories stall.
"Mother would like this!" he said brightly, picking up a jade bracelet. It reminded me of my mother's bracelet - the one that Sui Yu Lou's old owner had taken away from me.
I let out a laugh. "You can buy one for her when you get older, my dear nephew!"
Yao Xun giggled and ran towards another stall. "Wife," Zheng called out to me from behind. I turned around to see Zheng pointing to the inn with an apologetic look on his face. It must have been awful to roll around on the uneven dirt road of the market.
"Alright, I'll see you," I answered. Nian Qu joined me, while I gestured for Qin to follow the Prince.
"Yao Xun! Wait for me!" I dashed forward as his figure disappeared in a group of people.
