"Why stop?" Tara asked as she plopped down on the shabby chair in the house, ignoring the dusty dirt on her trousers. Tara glanced casually at the two people in front of her, then her gaze stopped at the terrified face of the woman who had fallen prey to Robert.
"I'm not bothering your wife, why follow me all the way here?" Robert asked in protest, he was clearly disturbed because Lira's blood-sucking activity was stopped by Tara's arrival. "Although you are a prince, but we are different people. So there is no reason for me to obey you, go before I get angry."
Tara raised an eyebrow, looking at Robert jokingly. There was a small chuckle that escaped his lips, clearly it was a laugh full of playful jokes.
"Is it true that you will just let my wife go after she finds out who you really are?" Tara pulled something shiny out from under her coat, brushing it lightly as if to show Robert how sharp the object in her hand was. "The words of an outcast vampire like you can never be trusted."
Robert swallowed Saliva with difficulty as soon as his gaze fell on the dagger in Tara's hand. One stab right into the heart, then he was destroyed. Robert knows better than anyone how great Tara is in fighting the enemy, while she is just an ordinary vampire who has no abilities.
With no other choice, Robert knew his only chance of survival was to escape. He pushed Lira's body in his arms until it wobbled and fell on the floor, while she was about to run away from Tara.
Who would have thought that as soon as Robert would reach the window, his body had already slammed down. Robert groaned in pain, because his back hit the wall hard.
Seeing that Robert was knocked down so easily, Lira screamed in fear. She hugged his body possessively, backing up to the wall. Even though Lira was weak because her blood was sucked by Robert, but she didn't move to move.
What shocked Lira was the moment she remembered who the man who came was, he was Argantara Prawira, the owner of a big company in the city. But why did Tara have to have golden yellow eyes?
Tara stood tall in front of Robert who was getting up, playing the dagger in his hand casually. There was a faint smile on his lips, grinning happily at the sight of his opponent in pain.
"I-I won't disturb your wife, please spare me prince." Robert begged, hoping Tara would forgive him.
Tara tilted her head slightly, giving Robert a joking look. Robert's red eyes reminded Tara of someone, making her unable to forgive Robert for intending to hurt Vania.
Of course Tara will not act rashly either, in this empty house there is still Lira who will see all her behavior. So before Tara killed Robert, he glanced at Lira with a warning squint.
"Go away or I will kill you!"
As soon as she got a warning from Tara, Lira's limp body gasped. Although it was difficult to move, Lira still tried to move to leave. He was still grateful that he was safe from Robert's clutches, whoever Tara was for now was not her main priority to think about.
After making sure Lira was gone, Tara looked back at Robert. Tara's playful face turned serious, "It's not that all this time I didn't know who you really were, but I only gave you the opportunity to work in my company. You are finished now in my hands!"
Absurdly, Robert stood up and immediately attacked Tara. Tara immediately backed away, dodging Robert's attack. The two of them got into a fight, but it was clear that Tara had the upper hand.
In the end Robert was thrown back, he was seriously injured. He had coughed up a lot of blood from his mouth, a sign that Robert's injuries were very serious.
Tara smirked with satisfaction at Robert's defeat, now it was only time for her to kill Robert so that no one else would disturb Vania. Tara pulled the dagger in her hand, ready to pierce Robert's heart. However, before Tara could carry out her plan, someone at high speed took Robert away.
"God damn it!" Tara growled angrily.
Tara immediately gave chase, but as soon as she got out of the house the tracks of Robert or the person who took Robert could not be traced. Tara was furious, not expecting anyone to save Robert from her grasp.
Meanwhile, in another place, Vania, who was mopping the floor, occasionally glanced at her surroundings. He was so paranoid, afraid that among the people around him it was either a vampire or a wolf.
Vania didn't know how she could tell which were vampires, which were wolves, and which were ordinary humans like herself. Should Vania ask Tara or Jo first? He thinks the answer is yes. After all, Tara and Jo would know better about wolves, vampires, and other creatures like that.
"Come to my room!"
Vania flinched when she found Tara walking past her with absolute orders coming out of her lips. Before following Tara, Vania glanced left and right. He made sure no one was paying attention to him, but apparently what he found was that everyone who happened to be around was paying attention to him.
With accelerated steps, Vania immediately followed Tara, into the same elevator. In the elevator there happened to be only Vania and Tara, so Vania could breathe a little relieved because there were no more pairs of eyes showing her.
Vania glanced at Tara reluctantly, she looked up slightly to see Tara's face from the side. "Em, what's wrong with Mr. Tara calling me? This has nothing to do with what happened on the emergency stairs, right?"
Tara glanced at little Vania, before then back to the front. Tara secretly looked at Vania from the shadow reflected on the elevator wall, smiling faintly when she knew that Vania was still staring at her face.
Not getting an answer from Tara for her question just now, Vania bowed her head again. He was finally silent until the elevator stopped and reached its destination. Vania followed Tara's steps into her room, ignoring Tara's secretary who stood and saluted Tara.
As soon as the door closed, Vania gasped as Tara pushed her body against the wall. Vania hasn't recovered from her shock yet, she gets another heart attack because Tara suddenly hugs her tightly.
Vania wonders in her heart, what's wrong with Tara?
"Mr. Tara why?" Vania asked after regaining consciousness. She tried to push Tara's body out of the way, but Tara seemed to tighten her grip instead.
"From now on you can't stay away from me, lots of enemies are starting to show up and want you. Vania, marry me again." Tara spoke hoarsely in the crook of Vania's neck, he could even tell Vania's body was tightening in his arms.
