My body was petrified as their countless gazes rested on me.
Well, they weren't exactly innumerable, about ten, maybe twelve seniors were gathered in a group and were conversing when I entered.
'I was careless!' My mind rang.
A smile formed on the face of one of them as he approached me while the others also gave me amused looks. One way or the other, I knew I wasn't getting out of this situation easily.
My eyes unconsciously darted towards the door on my left which led to the lounge. I noticed that the entrance to the lounge was already opened and It creaked as it closed slowly. This caused me to register the reason these guys were suddenly loitering on the ground floor.
'They weren't loitering… they were just coming out of the Lounge!'
The very students I wanted to avoid by choosing a different eatery were standing before me. It felt disappointing and annoying, but there was nothing I could do at the current moment.
